Our Veterans; a Shining Example
of Community Service
A SPECIAL ACKOWLEDGEMENT
OF REMARKABLE SERVICE
At this time of the year we humbly acknowledge the extraordinary contributions of ordinary citizens - who when danger arose bravely transformed themselves from our neighbors to our defenders.
No family has escaped the anxious nights and restlessness that comes with having a veteran in harm's way. No family has given more than a family being told their veteran isn't returning. And no family knows greater happiness than welcoming their veteran back home.
There are eight Medal of Honor recipients from Montana who along with thousands upon thousands of Montana veterans served their country, their communities and families in faraway places, keeping us free to enjoy a lifestyle unparalleled in history. To each of them, from the officers and staff of all of our community banks, please know we remain humbled by your service and grateful for your individual acts of bravery.
We honor our veterans and their families by pledging to serve our communities strongly so that as each one returns home the opportunity for prosperity they sacrificed so much to protect can be theirs.
God Bless our Veterans!
